Attention beauties, fall is finally here! I repeat, fall is finally HERE!
Can you tell this is my favorite season?! I look forward to this all year long! The fashion trends are the best this time a year, the temperature is perfect and uhm it's socially acceptable to drink pumpkin flavored everything!
Living in New York trends are everything, even for a busy mom like myself, I try and stay upbeat with the latest trends. Here are some things that are essential to my closet.
Tops:
Comfy sweaters. Why? Well why not. They are the most comfortable piece of clothing ever created. They keep me nice and warm once the temperature starts dropping. You can dress them up or down and it will probably always be trendy so #rockoncomfyweaters.
Vests: I love vests, wearing a long sleeve shirts can look plain and boring throw on vest and you just went from plain 'ol vanilla to sassy and stylish.
Light Coats: You know what they say, what goes up must come down. Well it works that way with our temperature here in New York. Light jackets are definitely a must have, especially when we start getting in to later moths of fall. Coats are tricky though, they can add a little somethin' somethin' to your outfit OR completely kill it. Pick something that goes well with everything, especially your shoes.
Bottoms:
Jeans/Pants: My favorite thing to wear in the fall is jeans, of all different colors and styles. You can dress them up, or wear them casual. I'm not the biggest skirt wearer, and I've seen such cute outfits with high-waisted skirts but they don't flatter me so much. If you love skirt's then do you girl!
Shoes:
Oh man, I will try and keep this short and sweet because shoes are completely my thing and I could go on and on.
Flats: A must have for all women. Flats are just the easiest thing to wear. They can literally be worn with everything!
Low-Cut Boots: My personal favorite, low cut boots are just awesome and go well with pants, shorts, skirts... etc. I'm a tiny person, coming at you at 5 feet, 1 inch so long boots are a big no-no for me.
High-Heel Booties: Love them, not that I wear them on an every day basis but I love them. High-heel booties give any outfit sass.
Nude Pumps: Nude was never really my cup-of-coffee but like most women, I've come to love these babies. Nude pumps are "in" right now, they go with everything and make outfits looks classy and sassy at the same time.
My favorite nail colors for the fall are deep dark colors such as, Wicked & Licorice.
Accessories: Hat, Statement Necklace, Stackable Rings, Watch, Clutch
