Fanned Out & Voluminous Lashes!

Recently, I re-discovered an amazing and easy beauty hack that I use to use way back in the day before my "falsie" days! Don't get me wrong, I love wearing false lashes out, I really do think that long and voluminous lashes wrap a great face beat (makeup look) but ladies! seriously, who has the time, patience or energy to put on lashes everyday? As beautiful as they may look, the process is simply tedious with the glue and the perfect tackyness and then sticking them on evenly... No way, I don't have time to do this everyday.

 Luckily, I'm here to share and easy alternative to make your own lashes look beautifully full and fanned out and it only takes 2 minutes!
What You Need:

  • Lash Curler
  • Clear Mascara (Gel) 
  • Your Favorite Mascara 
First give your lashes a good curl.
Next apply the clear gel mascara, this step is really important because this is where you fan out your lashes without getting black gunk on your lids so make sure to apply and separate the lash hairs with the wand! When your done let it sit there for 10-15 seconds so the gel dries a little, this will hold the curl longer.
Lastly, apply your favorite mascara on top of the gel in zig-zag motions, this will darken the whole lash and give you volume. That's it your done!

*If you get any dark colored mascara on your eyelids DO NOT rub off, this will only make it worse. Let the mascara dry and then just gently scrape it off with a clean finger or a clean Q-Tip.*

    I struggle to keep curl in my lashes (barely there ones) so will def try this method, does it have to be clear mascara gel or does the clear eyebrow gel also work? x

      I've never tried clear gel but you can try! Just try not to get it in your eyes! Good luck :)

    I've never thought of using clear mascara as actual mascara .. I usually use it as gel to hold my eyebrows together, haha. but I think I'll have to give this a go!

    I love it! You can really fan out your lashes by wivgling the wand without getting black mascara on your lids :)
